Volunteering Opportunities

Who We Are

At theatre works! our mission is to make theatre accessible to children and young people from underserved communities.

We are a five-year-old registered charity operating in the UK and US awarding grants to schools and theatres.

We’ve supported over 33,000 children aged 7-16 to experience the magic of live theatre – many for the first time. We’re proud that our grants cover school trips to the theatre, including tickets, transport and related educational activities. You’ll be joining at an exciting time as we continue to grow as a charity.

As our charity grows and the potential becomes clearer we need to add to our small, but enthusiastic volunteer group with the following part-time, remote-working roles.

With theatres and wider communities facing increased pressure on costs our charity is providing a real lifeline, but we need to build awareness and connections with the people who are charged with meeting these challenges.
