theatre works! is a charity that makes theatre more accessible for disadvantaged children and young people.
Our focus is to provide theatre tickets and related educational experiences to children from disadvantaged communities across the UK.
Except for London, where other charities provide free tickets, schools or theatres can apply for tickets and transport costs to attend professional theatre performances. Grants are worth up to $5,000 for theatres and £2,000 for schools.
To apply, at least 40% of the students in participating schools should be Pupil Premium/Free School Meals and/or 25% SEND students.
