US donations
Making Gifts to theatre works! At The Chapel & York US Foundation
We have partnered with the Chapel & York US Foundation to accept US donations for the benefit of our charity. This partnership allows us to save on the costs required to operate our own US 501(c)(3) non-profit organisation while still providing you the opportunity to support us with tax-deductible donations. Your dollar stretches further allowing us to accomplish even more.
Your donation will be made to the Chapel & York US Foundation who will then make grants to theatre works!
There are no costs involved in this arrangement for the donor, but the charity will incur modest administration costs, including processing and service fees. Donors are offered the opportunity to cover these charges.
If you are a taxpayer in both the US and UK, UK Gift Aid can be claimed by the charity on the donation (subject to you having paid tax in the UK equivalent to the value of the donation). You can also claim tax relief against your UK tax liability in addition to your US tax deduction.
Your donation will automatically be used to support our grants to US theatres. If you are happy for your generous donation to be used in either the UK or US, or just the UK, please send us an e-mail at info@theatreworks.global making your wishes clear to us.

The Chapel & York US Foundation is a registered 501(c)(3) with EIN 81-2161937. All donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and Chapel & York will issue a tax receipt to acknowledge your generosity.

For security purposes, we do not publicly list our bank account details. Please fill in the wire transfer form at www.chapel-yorkfoundation.org/donate/wire and the wire transfer details will be emailed to you. Please note you should fill in this form each time you donate by wire to ensure you receive our most up-to-date bank details and so that we can match your gift with theatre works! Please also state the theatre works! name in the wire reference.

Check donations should be made payable to the Chapel & York Foundation, Inc and sent to:

So that we may allocate your donation correctly, please include a completed ‘Offline Donation Form’ which can be found at www.chapel-yorkfoundation.org/donate (or email info@chapel-yorkfoundation.org for a copy).
legacies (bequests)
The Chapel & York US Foundation can be named as the recipient of legacies and bequests intended for theatre works! in your will and other planned giving instruments. Please email info@chapel-yorkfoundation.org to discuss specific arrangements.
acknowledgment
The Chapel & York US Foundation will send an acknowledgement to you confirming receipt of the theatre works! donation. Please note that we require your email address for the receipt and your physical address for tax purposes.
Acknowledgements are sent when donations have been received by the Foundation – for online donations this is immediate; wire transfers and cheques may take several days to arrive.
Please note that there may be a delay in acknowledgement if you do not provide all the correct information alongside a donation.
